Marcus Willcocks

Marcus Willcocks is a designer and researcher in spatial, social, and co-design related urban practices. He is a Research Fellow with the Design Against Crime Research Centre and Socially Responsive Design and Innovation hub at University of Arts London. He holds a Masters in Design and Public Space and has over fifteen year’s experience applying research and innovation practices to social contexts of the built environment, crime prevention and development of sociable cities. He is funded activities include EU project investigating responses to graffiti and recently other large projects covering topics including personal safety; countering hostile reconnaissance; bicycle theft; bag theft and more.
