Daniela Idrovo, ecuadorian architect with two master degrees one in project management and the other in Urban management (Politechnical University of Catalonia) her master thesis was about  “Coexistence and urban safety: Urban regeneration Strategies for public spaces in segregated and conflicted Neighborhoods. 

Daniela is a current PDH candidate at the UPC and her research project is ”Urban regeneration policies and their impact on urban safety in conflicted neighborhoods. Guidelines for public policies”, with three case studies: La mina in Spain, Bijlmermeer in Amsterdam and Villa del Socorro in Medellín.
