The dissemination group of our COST action has reached an agreement with the Journal of Place Management and Development to publish a special issue on “Crime Prevention through Urban Design, Planning and Management”. This is going to be Volume 9, Issue 2, (Spring/Summer 2016). Clara Cardia & Ares Kalandides will be the guest editors.
Anybody interested in contributing to the special issue please contact Ares Kalandides (kalandides@inpolis.de). There are two types of articles that you can send in for double blind peer review:
a) Full research/ theoretical papers at around 6000 words plus references.
b) Case study pieces with a more practioner/practical recommendation focus of 1500
The special issue can accomodate a maximum of 6 research and 3 case study papers.
Deadlines
- April 30th, 2015: Expression of interest
- August 31st, 2015: Initial submission
- October 31st, 2015: Double blind peer review. Notification of acceptance/rejection
- November 30th, 2015: Revisions (where needed)
- January 10th: Final revisions and submission to journal
